IB or Consulting?

I need advice. I am a rising senior that realizes that this is his last summer before he has to be working full time. I have heard that to prepare for multiple interviews of distinct industries can be tough, and that it might better to focus on one. My debate is between either to focus on IB or Consulting. Both careers look interesting, due to the amount of learning they do on the job. I had an IB internship last summer and I was able to learn a lot about myself and the industry during my time as an intern. Even though I had past experience in IB, people have convinced me to look to other areas and consulting become more appealing. Ideally, I would chose a path and stick to it so I can review and prepare for interviews, but for that I would appreciate some input from your part in the WSO community. I am keeping in mind that COVID might make spots even harder to get this upcoming cycle. Thanks in advance!
