Leaving Summer Internship off Resume - Background Check
I didn’t get a return offer from my junior summer internship, landed at a worse shop for FT, and it raised a lot of questions during PE recruiting early on.
I ended up just taking it off my resume and did PE recruiting and ended up getting my dream spot.
I am now worried about my background check that they are about to run if that summer internship comes up.
I didn’t lie on my resume and no one ever asked about why I had a summer gap on my resume - but super worried about background check now
It will come up on your finra but they only go off of information you gave them for the employment background check
Did you not do a junior SA program? And just recruit for FT instead?
