Leaving Wealth Management
Hey guys. I have a pretty decent but boring job in wealth management. It is strictly back-office portfolio strategy and trading. I feel like I am not learning any real hard skills everyday and am feeling stuck if I do not want to be a financial advisor. I am sitting for Level III of CFA in February. Do you have any suggestions of other types of roles I should look at that will be a lateral move initially? I think junior credit and equity research positions may be attainable given my experience but is there anything else I should look at that are good career building blocks? Thanks for the input I know it will be a grind but I need something new. Best.
