Need advice (self empoyed/lack of work experience)

Recent college graduate from solid state university with a finance BBA. Been applying for some jobs, but need a little help with a tricky situation. I played online poker as my sole source of income from the time I graduated high school until it got shut down in april 2011, so my work experience is very limited. I've done a decent amount of volunteering and a mission trip in South America, but my formal employment history is limited to a few months at a gas station when I was still in high school.

So the question is, how should I address this both on my resume and during interviews? Should it even be brought up on either? I know there is a bit of a stigma surrounding online poker for some people around the age of my potential interviewers so I'm a bit worried. On the other hand if the interviewer is semi familiar with it they could look at it as an indication of talent with numbers, critical thinking, problem solving skills, etc.

Basically I'm pretty unsure how to address this issue, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

helpmepleasethxWait online poker got shutdown? I thought it's still possible to do it...

In some states you can still play on a few really small sites but it's nothing like it used to be. Low traffic, hard games, difficult to cash out, etc.

So I should probably just be honest and try to explain it in as positive a light as possible? Any recommendations on how I address this on my resume?
