Need Opinions On "UnOffical Offer"
I had a superday at a bank for an IB summer internship role and the HR call said they loved me. Only reason they can't bring me on for 2023 summer which the job was listed for is because I'm currently a sophomore. Since they were impressed by me they said when they start recruiting for 2024 summer in early march they will contact me and stay connected until then. I asked if I had to go through the interview process again and she said no. I know words are just words but just trying to gage my chances and what to expect in a few weeks. Is this basically mean I have got a high chance of already securing an offer at this bank for 2024 and was that their bank's way of giving me an "unofficial offer" for 2024?
