"On hold for an offer"
Hello everyone,
2 days after my superday with a bank I received an email saying that I was on hold. Is there anything you would recommend me to do? FYI I've already followed up with the interviewers the day of the interview. I am also waiting on another response with a different bank.
Thanks
They are waiting on an answer from their top candidate. Not much you can do, check in in a week or two and/or if you receive an offer from the other bank.
Assuming this is with Citi. Maybe come up with a counteroffer, that's what I'm trying to do.
yeah do not counteroffer them...
Nothing wrong with it if you genuinely have the offer. I wouldn't email your interviewers, but can tell your contact through school recruiting or whatever. In that case though if you manage to get the offer you better take it.
"pls bro gimme the offer ill work for free"
Find out who the top candidate is and kidnap him for a week or two. Easy money.
Why stop there
I was on a waitlist last year when I was recruiting and I got a different offer. I told the bank (when they waitlisted me they said please notify us if you get another offer) and said the other offer was expiring soon and I planned on accepting it unless I received an offer from the waitlist bank. Got an offer from them by the end of the day. They usually hold all the leverage, but if you get another offer they might change their tone.
Yeah this is what I'm saying. dont know why i got MS
