Not sure what to do next

Hi all, I’m in my fourth year at a non-target. I spent the first two years of college attempting to go professional at a sport, which ultimately didn’t work out.

During my third year I decided to learn as much as I could about corporate finance, IB, and PE. I just got a rejection email from the firm I wanted to work at the most, after interviewing several times with them.

At this point, I have so little time to make something happen before school ends, which might suggest for a change in strategy, perhaps aiming at lower finance jobs that aren’t as popularized (or glorified for that matter).

I’m not really sure what to look at. Any suggestions? Ideally I want a field where I can still do some form of modeling or gain specialized industry knowledge, while working to take the CFA exams.
