operational job at big banks v.s. quantitative analyst job at smaller funds

I just got my MBA from a good (but not great) state university with specialization in quantitative finance. I recently got an offer as a quantitative analyst at a small fintech company and another offer as a securities processing analyst, which basically is a operational job from Northern Trust.

I don't really care for brand name. My priority has always been job prospect, long-term compensation, an future job security (if I am out of job some day, will I easily find decent new employment in the future).

Can anyone please give suggestions since I really had a hard time deciding between the two offers. Thank you.

Higher skilled work at fintech will trump lower skilled stuff at a big bank. As you try to step up in the world, interviewers will focus on what you did last. Taking your skills down market by taking a operational job will be hard to recover from.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, post threads about how to do it on WSO.
