Received an offer I'm not so excited about - Inform other processes, or roll with it and reneg?

I did ER prior to attending a top 2 bschool, graduated, and received a decent offer to return to ER for a great team in a wholly ignored/hated sector.

Long-term goal is public equities on the buyside (tried to make the pivot during bschool to no avail).

Currently juggling a few processes at early/immaterial stages - very eclectic mix from LOs/HFs/Corp Dev/ER (better sector).

Question 1) Do I accept the offer, and simply push forward with my other processes without telling them? I have a bit of PTSD here, as I've been transparent in the past when certain processes were approaching the finish line, and the competing processes shutdown/booted me out of their respective processes.

Question 2) To the buy-side guys here, how much damage is working in sell-side ER in an unfortunate sector going to do to my prospects of continued buy-side recruiting?

Gracias for the help!
