Thank you email after offer

Are you supposed to write a thank you email after receiving an offer? Some of my interviewers reached out and I have no idea if it's okay to not reply until I've accepted or if I should just thank them! Im gonna accept but I just haven't received the HR email yet so I'm confused.

Also should I email the person who called me about it? Im so hype lfg

Ayy nice man, congrats!

Would respond to the ones that reached out to you after you got the offer. Is this for internship, FT or lateral?

Thanks so much man! SA, do you think it's okay to reply on the weekend or should i wait till Monday?

If you've decided to accept, definitely respond and say so! There is a lot of time and effort put into coffee chats, first and second rounds, superdays and a load of behind the scenes stuff for bankers to get to the point of giving out a select few offers.

So trust me when I say we are just as excited as you are when we hear candidates accept! So in your case, would respond to the people who emailed you as well as the interviewers, and anyone who helped you in the process. Congrats!

So, this is kind of similar to the OP, I recently received an offer for which I was initially interviewing with someone in a different office. Had nice conversations with him and did the case study with him. He eventually ended up referring me for a role which was more immediate with a different group in a different office (same firm / function though). Then had to go through several interviews with that team which led to an offer, finally.

Anyway, sent a thank you email to the original guy whom I did the case study with but he hasn’t responded lol. Not sure if this is normal. I sent him an email a day ago but he hasn’t responded. Usually he’s pretty quick to respond. Freaking out because I don’t want to start off on a bad note with anyone in the organisation. Feel like I might’ve rubbed him the wrong way with frequent follow-ups during the recruitment process.
