Thoughts on JHU
I’m looking at JHU’s online MS in Computational/Applied Mathematics, along with their MS in Financial Mathematics.
I know JHU isn’t a target school for finance, but they’re pretty reputable for engineering (top 15 nationally). Would this help with recruiting for quant roles considering both degrees are in the College of Engineering?
Also looked into JHU for their online MS in Financial Mathematics, it's a decently reputable program but don't know if it will give the best pivot into quant, since the education seemed to be leaning more towards the finance and economic theory side as opposed to pure applied math skills that most quant firms test on.
