nycfinancerookiedepending on your experience, I would say anywhere from 60-90k + bonus in NYC. Obviously, could be less in other regions.

what....

It would be like 45-55k in NY, it is a lower pay band then analysts at BBs and can only imagine its even lower at MMs and Boutiques which potentially don't pay equal to street. Plus, if you google it, it is located in New Hampshire and is a Trading "Operations" Assistant. I would guess 35-45k but no way to really know.

edit: I am still chuckling you said a base of 90k considering you have no basis to say that when you just made a thread about trying to get a job as a trade support assistant at a HF

As I mentioned it will all depend on experience & qualifications. If this is your first job out of school, then as "yeahright" mentioned 45-55k is quite likely. However, I personally know many people 2-5 years out of school either in MO operations positions at BB's or trade support/operations at hedge funds and their salary levels are in the range that I stated. I would say average being about 65-70k. Obviously 90k is the the top range for someone who has good experience, CFA etc.

I admit that I did not google the position above and failed to see that it is in NH, which changes everything.

Lastly, with all due respect, just because I posted a thread about an upcoming interview for a trade support role, does not mean that I have no basis for my salary range approximations. I have been working in the industry for a couple of years and stated what I have observed in that time.

Hey beantownmonkey, so have you had the interview yet? and how did it go? sounds like a pretty interesting gig. I would assume that the compensation wouldn't be anywhere less than 40K depending on your experience and qualifications. Have you done any internships or held a similar position at another company before? are you a recent grad?
