Difficulty level is fairly intense, reviewing everything from managerial accounting to Econ to corporate FINC and basic math. They give you time limits on each question & the one I took had 50+ questions.

Just make a fake account w/ a fake email and take it. They record your ip though so take it at different locations. I took it to apply to one of the jobs they were advertising. I then got an email from one of the firms they were supposedly representing, firefly value partners. It was from the email address of that company, so it looked legit. They told me that they needed me to take the test because I was a strong candidate yada yada. I had an internet connection problem when I took it with the first email account (the actual one I use regularly) so I had to set up another email to do it from. W/e, I emailed them about how I had used another email account. Didnt get any reply from them. Then I got an email from another company they were supposedly representing from another @xxx.com. Same exact email as the first company had sent me. So all in all, its a scam. Theyre probably trying to get people to take their test to show investors and companies that they have people who have taken their test (advertising purposes). Same thing with smarterer. Both scams. If you want, I can send you the questions. I put a bunch in a word document. Good practice, though it is still fraudulent.

I did see that. This is for a Super Day so I'm not worried about the fraud, but definitely appreciate the heads-up.
It's not a scam, those opportunities on Street of Walls are very real, and personally, I think their site is a great concept.
BTW, if you cheat, the firm for which you're interviewing WILL know. They have benchmarked their scores internally, so if an analyst candidate (YOU, Plato!) busts out with a score higher than a current VP, they will know you're full of sh!t. Just do your best, show them your desire to continue learning, and you'll do fine.

It's pretty difficult. That's by design. You're only going to get 30% or so correct. You have to maintain your perspective, though, because that could end up being a great score! Just don't panic in the test if you're feeling like you are completely failing. You're supposed to feel that way.
Good luck! Landing this job is WAY more about fit at your level anyway. Like I said, just show genuine curiosity and desire to learn and you'll do great.

Guys, its a scam. I got the same email from 11 companies that WSAT was supposedly working with, saying they had reviewed my background etc. The same exact email. Its not real. The WSAT company is scamming you to get more people to take the test so they can advertise themselves. Youre wasting your time.
Has anyone actually gotten an interview from this site? Has anyone been hired as a result of this site? I sincerely doubt it.
It's a scam. Clearly Monkey Scribe is just a fan boy for their BS scheme. They're literally sending emails w/ the firm's name as the email, but @StreetofWalls.com. How fucking stupid is that shit? Oppenheimer ER interview... oh wait streetofwalls.com>[email protected], nice...

I was thinking about taking it, took the practice and found it quite difficult, since a lot of the concept on the test is something I never heard of or done.
You guys are idiots. I have a personal friend who is the co-PM at his own value HF (~$500m aum), and he currently has a posting on that site for an analyst. It's simply an additional data point for employers, and if you're as good as you think, it's an awesome way to differentiate yourself with a badass, objective test score. Quit being so skeptical you knuckleheads!
