What jobs are there for me?

I'm currently only 17 but have been doing well in the stock market for the past 2 years. I'm planning on getting a degree in finance. I'm curious as to what jobs there are for me? What i'm looking for in a job is basically just investing and trading in the stock market. My ideal job is being a private equity manager. Are there are jobs that do the same if not similar things? I'm not concerned with the money being a private individuals or a companies. Thanks in advance.

Uhh.... Okay where to start.

My advice for you is to read WAY more than write on this forum. Read and read and read and if it doesn't make sense, go to college, then come back and read more.

I appreciate the drive and interest but you're just too young to be having this conversation with.

That being said, Private Equity is NOT investing in the stock market at all. From age 15-17, investing in the stock market isn't a skill you have. The last two years the market has been on a tear and everyone has "done well." My advice is to read books, read this forum, watch the news and soak it all in. At age 17 I was consumed in sports and girls, not the stock market. Enjoy high school like it is meant to be enjoyed, not worrying about landing a gig in Finance.

Okay let's just say i'm only curious about what jobs there are that simply involve investing a company's or an individuals money in one way or another.

Tons. But to put it simply, you can be a financial adviser who invests money for people and helps them plan their finances for various life situations (kids in college, retirement, etc.) or you can be a portfolio manager at any number of companies. This includes mutual funds where you would be mainly investing institutional (pension funds, retirement funds, etc.) investors money as well as hedge fund managers.
