When to end the conversation?
So I recently e-mailed the HR at a local private wealth management firm (don't hate, I'm only a freshman in undergraduate) regarding any internship opportunities and she told me this:
My name,
Your resume was received and I have passed a copy along to the owner, OWNER.
Best,
HR
I want to thank her, but I don't know what else to say other than, "Thank you so much" and I don't think saying things like "I really hope I can be part of the firm" would be appropriate since there was no job postings for the firm. I found the firm through some searching for local pwm firms around my area, but there was nothing about any internship opportunities. Should I bother e-mailing her back simply a thank you or should I just wait for the owner to possibly contact me? Thanks.
HR,
Thank you for your time. I look forward to speaking with OWNER.
Best,

This is also the exact response I would send.
yeahright is correct 100%. Don't be afraid to send a pure thank you note every now and again.
