entrepreneurial.....internship? I don't get it, so he interned with a start-up, or did he start up his own business?

  1. 3.75 econ w/ entrepreneurial internships

  2. 3.6 business (finance conc) & stats major & math finance minor w/ consulting internship

  3. 3.9+ EE, CS majors & math finance minor w/o finance internships

lots of details missing

assuming same school? Target ? ivy? non -target?

for the internships, it depends on the brand name. A consulting internship can mean mckinsey or it can mean a small no name shop...

The question by the OP is easy to answer:

brand name schools matter

brand name internships matter (though you cant be doing crap or back office division)

More "brand names" you have, the better

3.9+ EE, CS majors & math finance minor w/o finance internships >> Probably the hardest majors of the group with the best gpa, but would guess the worst personality by far since he probably spent 95% of college in front of a computer instead of having fun.

3.75 econ w/ entrepreneurial internships >> Probably the weakest of the group based on what you gave, any minors? Finance classes would help but a lot of Econ majors do more theoretical material which isn't as applicable

3.6 business (finance conc) & stats major & math finance minor w/ consulting internship >> Stats definitely helps, would likely get a few brain busters for trading interview

Overall depends on personality though, if you all get the interview it's almost entirely on what they think of you during the interview.
