Will 2022 FT recruitment have more spots?

Currently a Junior with a few offers for SA (all lower tier BB's or solid MM's) looking to lateral to a better BB or EB for FT. Since BB's cut their SA classes by 20-30% I'm assuming they will hire more for FT in 2022? Is this safe to assume?

Firstly, want to say I read your post about doing coffee chats right and it was the sole reason I was able to land any offers at all. I come from a semi-target in the west coast with an untraditional background of entrepreneurship (successful exit for my startup) so I was definitely late into the recruiting process but determined. I would love to chat at about your experience at some point.

About hearing that BB's cut their SA classes, there was a poster here claiming to be from a BB saying that most BB's cut their classes by 20-30%. Unsure if that's entirely true.
