Balancing saving and spending money

This has been discussed before - I’ve talked about how I don’t spend much money. The past few weeks I’ve flown private a few times and gone out and spent more money than I did in all of Q4-22 (can’t believe this is how I talk about months now but it makes sense imo).

I have said before money doesn’t buy happiness, but I feel like I’ve gotten out of a rut I had been in. Maybe it was the fact I hadn’t been on vacation or switched up my daily routine for a while, but mentally I feel “lighter”. I don’t have the means to spend like this all the time, but I don’t have any “financial stress” because of these trips I’ve taken with some acquaintances.

Congrats - buying a house is a huge commitment. Have had several people tell me to buy a house, but I don’t plan on living here long terms.

Have also gotten the “buy land” advice, but there isn’t anything that enticing at the price range I have. Also feel like I can outperform land appreciation in the market.

Have thought of buying land on the beach in the Gulf, but why? Not going to be able to build on it in the next 5 years, and my family has a place there so just doesn’t make sense to me.

Don't make much but putting everything into my business (music project) pretty much. I think I finally figured out a marketing/distribution angle after trying to figure that out for like a year so plugging money into that mostly.
