Do any bankers take steriods?

As we all know, a person who is jacked is much more respected (by females, goldman sachs, hyp) than someone who doesn't take care of his body. Appearance is everything. But when considering the arduous workweeks, it seems like a banker wouldn't have enough time or energy to remain in peak physical condition. Maybe with the help of steroids one could stay absolutely shredded. Are steroids common on wall street? Started thinking about this and found an article about a doctor who owns a testosterone treatment practice and says that about 90% of his patients are guys who work in finance.

To be more accurate, he said that steroids increase the amount of blood that circulates in your body (don't know what it means tbh), which leads to better pump when you work out. Hence, your dick will also be bigger in erection because that is essentially a pump as well. But then again, I wouldn't risk a few decades of my life for a slightly bigger post-erection penis.

These are probably people at the VP level and up judging by the article. Above 30-35 your natural levels start declining and it gradually becomes more difficult to keep the fat off, keep the muscle on, and retain an active lifestyle. In these cases, you can go to a clinic and get your test levels aligned back to the range that they were in during your 20's which will get you some benefits with regards to body composition, but you won't get the type of results you would see in pro bodybuilding or untested powerlifting, you just get closer to where you were in your high school/early college years. This was the point of the article.

I would generally advise against doing any of these "supplements" until there is a legit medical need, and then do it under the supervision of a doctor. The risks are plentiful, and the payoff without a sticking to a good diet and exercise routine is pretty modest.

I would say yes you do get people using gear. But steroids come in different shapes and sizes - I doubt many will do something as powerful as TREN but can guarantee loads of people will do Dbol type pills.

I wouldn't touch the stuff as although short term effects are well documented I think long term damage is inevitable. Also if you are taking this stuff to compensate for not enough rest or so you can have more intense workouts etc then there is no natural stopping point. Its not like you have one cycle as clearly it is more of an incompatible lifestyle to go spend two hours a day in a gym then get 8 hours sleep so your'e fully recovered etc.

Typically people use 'supplements' to push through their natural limits, and not just for lifting, but for cardio/endurance sports. Having rowed through high school and college, everyone used legal hormone-based supplements to increase performance during the season.

Yes I do. Of my friends who take stuff you can split them into two camps - those who take the "hard" stuff such as tren and those who take Dbol.

Also I don't know that many people who think about their livers considering the amount of Alcohol, Speed and Cocaine they take so I really doubt they care about Dbol etc.

They personify living for the moment, looking good and partying hard.

In other words they took wolf of wallstreet too seriously.

Depending on the situation TRT has a legitimate medical use i.e. low testosterone, bone density, etc. Keep in mind with TRT you aren't blasting and cruising, but instead cruising at a dose that brings your test back to your natural levels. Steroids is a generic term for a variety of compounds (which again) have valid medical uses, BUT can also be used to build muscle/increase athletic performance. If ones test levels are low and it's affecting their lifestyle then yes TRT is reasonable - my dad does it and his quality of life has improved dramatically. On the flip side, if you're interested in building muscle there are plenty of gray-area supplements that offer hormone based muscle effects that are legal(ish). Do your research.

I was not talking about TRT I was talking about steroids in the form of TREN and DBOL which people are taking purely for gains. Likewise I am not referring to people who's test levels are naturally falling.

Yea unless you want to be on testosterone your entire life stay the fk away from TRT and roids.

I don't know why this came up in my suggested topics. Maybe it's because I'm 31 and the algorithm senses declining testosterone levels. Anyway, I played football in high school (linebacker, specifically, so I needed strength) and back in the early-mid 2000-'s you had pro-hormones and legitimate steroids such as methyl-1-testosterone that were actually legal. I think it was because the original act written in 1988 banned all steroids that were known at that time by their specific chemical composition, and science nerds just invented a few new ones. George W. Bush signed a bill that banned them, it went into effect when I was in high school, I think it took effect January 1st, 2005, but I remember some guys on the football team were stocking up, which was crazy because none of us was even 18 then and you could legally purchase the stuff at GNC. I know some guys used Methly-1-Testosterone with some noticeable success, but after the ban, all that was over.

Anyway, as it relates to my present life as a hard-working 31-year-old upper-middle-class finance bro who doesn't have to tackle 220 lb fullbacks on Friday night but still tries to stay reasonably fit, I think I would be willing to look into "testosterone replacement therapy" somewhere down the line. I'm not there yet. I can tell my levels have dropped since my early 20's, but I can still get/stay in decent shape with a reasonable workout regimen. But once I hit 40, I would definitely be all about a prescription that could turn the clock on my testosterone levels back to where they were in my late teens and early 20's. You see older guys who are all fat and weak and tired and just look worn out. It's no good.

I would not be interested in using steroids to "get super jacked" unnaturally by taking my levels up to an unnatural level. But ten years from now, in my early 40's, would I take a prescription under a doctor's supervision that would turn the clock back 20 years? And would I abstain from drinking and rationalize the t-replacement by saying "Well, I do this, but I also work out, and I don't drink, so it evens out"? Yes. Yes, I would take that and rationalize it that way. Life is short. I'd rather abstain from drinking, take a little extra testoterone, and still be muscular, energetic, and fucking my (future) wife's brains out every day. I'm not trying to have a "dad bod."

Well I took prohormones I bought from total nutrition that took my weight from 190-220 over a 3 mth period.

Recently with the new stuff they sell now, or at you talking about back in the day with the stuff from pre-2005? If there's something legal and over-the-counter out now that actually works, then DM me the name of the product, broski!
