Both same shit. Baruch is cheaper and probably the better business school. Fordham carries more prestige among the average folk. I lean baruch, but without much conviction.
If you plan on transferring anyways, assuming your credentials are on point, go with Baruch. Save the money and commute you’d be spending at Fordham.
It costs $7,000 per year to go to Baruch versus about $50,000 per year to go to Fordham. I am not that familiar with Fordham's business school. Baruch has a good reputation in certain business areas. I am sure there are some people who would prefer Baruch over Fordham while others might prefer Fordham over Baruch. If I were choosing, I would go with Baruch due to the cost differential.
WTF? Yeah it would have to be astronomically different levels of school to justify ~$43M per year difference in price. Just go with the cheap one 100%. I finished school with 0 debt going to a non-target and it is a blessing.
I see more fellow Fordham Alums in company bios for C-Suite than I do Baruch. Both are very much you get out what you put in. If social life is a factor at all I would say Fordham. What some people seem to be missing is the Jesuit schooling is its own network. You can leverage being at Fordham with anyone who went to Holy Cross, BC, Georgetown, Scranton, Xavier, Creighton, Fairfield, etc. It's a mixed bag of good schools and mediocre, but I guarantee that everyone who graduates and is in a hiring position takes pride in a "Jesuit Education".
Kids from Fordham(generally) are also better at soft skills.
I did not mention the Jesuit aspect of Fordham because the OP did not mention this issue. I know people who went to Fordham due to Jesuit nature of the school. What do you mean by "soft skills?"
