Freddie Mac CFO Suicide? Or Assassinated ?

So guys I recently had the idea that that is a good possibility that Freddie Mac's CFO didn't commit suicide but rather was assassinated. This is 100% pure speculation but I think its a possibility. I am not one to buy into conspiracy theories so I wanted others thoughts on the matter.

putz go kill yourself

Hmm, you're right, that was immature of me to follow up on his joke and cross the line like that. Sorry if I offended anyone, I shouldn't comment on WSO after spending 24 hours awake.

My theory is that this guy was part a massive fraud that was going on inside FRE (e.g. Enron), realized that he cannot cover it up anymore and decided to kill himself instead of going to jail for 20+ years.

He has been CFO for Freddie for only six months or so (worked his way up in the company), so it was not his sole responsibility for the downfall of the GSE. I doubt that he would commit suicide, because he couldn't turn the company around in six months, therefore my conclusion that he took part in a massive fraud.

I am not a liberal and generally am not a conspiracy theorist I just wanted others views on the matter. I thought it could be a possibility. Him committing suicide just doesnt add up.

Unfortunately, suicide is so inherently irrational that there's no way for it to really ever add up. For all we know, he could have been depressed for a long time, and this is the catalyst that pushed him over the edge. Or it is completely unrelated.

Recently there was a woman who got into an auto accident, speeding recklessly into an intersection and ramming a passing car. In a fit of rage she kept her foot on the accelerator until her tires disintegrated and the sparks caused her own car to catch aflame and explode, killing herself. A neighbor opened the door of her car to tell her to stop pressing the accelerator and that her car was clearly on fire around her but she told him to "Fuck off", and soon after she went up in flames.

People this bipolar or insane may not attain C-level management, but are proof of how pitifully irrational the human brain can become.
