Hitting The Desk And The Gym

Starting in January (kinda a weird situation) when should I expect to work out? I assume i will be in the office around 8:30a there till midnight. Should I try to go in before? I dont want to make myself too tired? Or should I plan on getting away around noon or is later in the day better? I know it has been talked about before but I want some updated post(ish) COVID world and I will be in healthcare IB. Thanks for the tips. I just know I need to stay in shape to keep my head in the game.

When I say try to go in before I mean should I try to hit the gym before work. Sorry wrote this fast.

It seems liek there's two groups, people who are wired when they leave work and people who are exhausted. Most people fall in the later category and workouts are better before work, so I recommend you start there. Also, you can't control how late you stay but it's rare to be called in early.

Set a go/no go time for gym attendance based off falling asleep time. Aka if you get up for the gym at 5am, set the standard that you are going tomorrow unless you stay up past 11 if your min hours of sleep is 6hrs. The usual schedule is: pack work clothes night before, shave, put on gym clothes, and take preworkout then head to gym. Get your sesh in, shower and change for work there, head to work. It'll take time to adjust, but you'll adjust within 3 weeks and within 3 months you'll notice how bad it feels to miss it one day. Eat healthy, stay hydrated, get to bed on time, don't forget to pack your belt.
