How do you guys find time to do your MBA?

I have been thinking about this for awhile. I plan on doing a MBA but I don't want to leave work for a year or two and come back. In this job environment, its also ridiculous to think that you could leave for such a long time and come back. I also think about doing a part-time MBA, but the top MBA programs do not seem to offer this. So in order for me to do my MBA, I basically have to take a risk and leave my current job and hope that after I am done my MBA, I can secure something better. How have you guys handled it?

Um, booth, kellogg, berkeley, nyu, offer part-time MBA. And wharton, columbia, mit, do not offer part time but have executive programs.

What are your career goals? Also you have to ask yourself if the opportunity cost is worth it. No way anyone can answer this question without more info.

I work full-time and do an MBA full-time in the evening (non-target, large state school). It's a lot of work, but manageable. If you are thinking a top MBA, I wouldn't worry about leaving work... you'll have better opportunities. If you're thinking state school, I recommend busting ass to get through it full-time or going the part-time route (just make sure you're set on finishing, if you start part-time).

Even though I'm not at a target I've had a handful of F100 finance offers. If you're eye is on IB [or similar] go for the best school you can.

I'll do what I can to help ya'll. But, the game's out there, and it's play or get played.
