Is bonus supposed to be on offer letter?
Hello everyone, I have an offer in an industry that end of year bonuses are regular in (IB, Corp Banking, Cap. Markets) and there was no mention of an end of year bonus on the letter. Is this normal and bonuses still show up down the line or do I not expect an end of year bonus? Only the sign on is mentioned in the letter.
Normal
Bonus is based on company performance and since they can’t really accurately predict that they’re not going to put it in the contract.
Usually they mention that you’re eligible for, but in no way entitled to, a bonus.
Guess it's a bad sign that there is no mention at all?
