Learning the lingo and clearly understanding what each term means

Atm, I would say i have a distorted understanding of MBS, CDOs, Quantitative Easing, Why Federal Reserve is raising Interest rates, (and possibly other things that I'm unable to recall)

I'm just wondering what would be the best/efficient way to learn such (and other) terms one-by-one...

Or if you're out of school, there's any number of free Coursera classes which will explain the basic concepts. You can also start by reading economics columns/writers and make a habit of looking any term you don't understand up on Investopedia as soon as you encounter it. Won't guarantee you know everything but it will slowly expand your knowledgebase.

Ok, I'll stick with Investopedia then. My issue with a source like investopedia is that there is no starting point (step #1). And Idk I went to school and stuff but never learnt about QE, Federal Fund Rate or anything about private equity
