Navigating Having A Second Phone For Work?

Hey,

So I recently bought an iPhone for work, having my Samsung Galaxy as a personal phone. Was wondering how you go about managing this?

Like, what's the etiquette... I bought the phone because Blackberry is a massive pain to use on Samsungs and I wanted to have a separate device for my emails and work etc. So, what number do I provide to people? My workphone's number, or my personal cell?

Just asking because if in the situation something comes through on the weekend and I'm out or something (my team doesn't really work much on weekends/if at all), if I only have my personal cell on me I wouldn't be able to see anything.

Do I give both numbers? Carry around both phones? What's the dealio

Thanks. Firm offer BYOD, but not a fan because I've read a bit here and there about loss of privacy and potentially having your phone wiped if/when you leave!

Plus the above irritation of Blackberry UEM not allowing Samsung biometrics.

Will start getting used to having two phones!

I've had 2 phones for 5 years lol - you get used to it. It's nice too - whenever your personal dies, you have a spare phone for basic stuff like texts, Gmaps, and if you travel, no need to worry about roaming data and texting too

Hey all, thanks for the tips and advice.

Had a final question:

So the workphone I decided to get is an iPhone, do I need to set up a new Apple ID, or can I use the one that I have on my Mac already, or does that defeat the purpose?

Looking forward to any advice!

Thanks
