Next TV Show
I’m looking for my next tv show. It has to be relatively quick paced, and suspenseful, not a huge fan of those slow moving really deep shows.
Some possibilities: Billions Succession

Both are good, Succession is a lot better in terms of prestige television, but Billions has all that slick melodrama that is just fun to binge. I'd definitely recommend Succession first. Another show that's great is Barry, also HBO.

Bizarre to me how little attention this has gotten. I was totally blown away by how good it was.
spectacular show, honestly better than narcos at some points. africa / mexico plotline in particular is 10/10 television.
Incredible show based on Roberto Saviano's book. Would also recommend watching Gomorrah and read every Savino books.

All American - great show
All-American is awful. Somehow suffered through a season and a half of it before I finally stopped watching
All American is a solid show, nothing spectacular though. if you like it, you should watch Friday night lights, which is like all American on steroids
The Last Dance, which is in my opinion an extremely interesting and well made documentary about the Chicago Bulls. Even if you don't like basketball, I think you'll like the series. If you have even the slightest interest in basketball, you'll be hit hard with nostalgia.
Watching the show reminded me of how hard I worked in school as a kid to score 90's on exams to get money from my mom to buy 200 dollar Air Jordans.
I've never given half a shit about the NBA but The Last Dance was must-watch TV. Dennis Rodman is fucking hilarious.
If you liked The Last Dance I'd recommend listening to the last handful of Monday Pardon My Take episodes, where they shoot the shit about the two episodes that aired the previous day.
Ozark on Netflix is a phenomenal show right now
Wasn't convinced from the start but it is indeed quite solid!

I really enjoyed Succession. Can be a bit slow to start but S2 is much better than S1 imo
Once you get past the fact that no one on the show is likeable (except mayyyybe Greg but even then) it starts to get enjoyable

Succession is great, if you can get through the first half of Season 1 (slow).

Can 100% confirm. I absolutely hate all reality TV but man something about 90 Day Fiance during this quarantine; shit's amazing. My roommate and I binged like 3 or 4 seasons in a week. And you also have the "Before the 90 Days Series" which also has some freaking characters in it. Wild Stuff.

S1 is basically Breaking Bad in Missouri but with money laundering. S2 and 3 are better and the show finds its own voice. Definitely not slow.

Succession and billions are great. But Fauda is the best. It’s basically the original israeli homeland but without 25 seasons and without nutty unbelievable plot twists.
