No nicotine pouches

Hey guys, have seen a fair amount of chatter on he re: nicotine pouches at work. Has anyone had success with nicotine-free pouches? Seeing a lot of brands pop up w/ different use case case — Ultra, WIP, Aire, Grinds, NZE and so on. Any recs or positive experiences to share? I need to cut back badly but feels like I also need my Zyns to get through the day.

Non-nicotine lip pillows has to be the saddest LARP I've ever heard of.

What do they even have in them? Nootropics?

Well I wish you the best of luck... when you're ready to dive back in, the Pablo 50s and CUBA 43s are waiting to put some hair on your chest if you want to just cut down on the # of tins you're running through.

I use it to become "addicted" to working since that's when I usually have them in. Tolerance can ramp up pretty quickly (at least mine does). Dosage swings based on stress/how much I need to be "locked in" and after redlining it for a week or two I always titrate it back down to avoid any problems.

It does make you a little woozy when you hit your first one for the day at 40mg+, after that though it's just a nice way to relax into a rhythm. Been tracking my pouch intake for almost a year and I've ranged from 36mg (6x 6mg) up to 430mg (10x 43mg) per day, though I haven't gone below 9s since November. Will usually leave them in for at least a half hour. I like to mix and match flavors and generally buy ~10-20 tins between 9mg and 43mg at a time.

Right now my favorites are Peach Iced Tea and Jalapeño Lime Zone 9s. All time favorites are the Peach and Pineapple CUBA 43s. For what it's worth if I'm taking time off I'll quit all-together and I can count on my fingers the # of times I've had a drink since last July, so IMO there are some health benefits to be had IF you exercise self control.

Has anyone had success with nicotine-free pouches?

No. I guess it could be done, but I have not seen it yet. I know a good amount of nicotine users, but have yet to hear of one that actually managed to break the habit. Most try to ween themselves off their current vice - be it cigarettes, vapes, or pouches - by switching to another. Even gum or nicotine-free pouch phases are short-lived. The users end up just going in circles, changing their means of consuming nicotine but never actually quitting nicotine.

If I had to guess why, it's probably because breaking any addiction requires a change in lifestyle, not just swapping out a vice. Obese people keep the weight off by changing their relationship with food, not swapping regular soda for diet soda. Porn addicts change how they view smut; they don't swap Onlyfans for Victoria's Secret catalogues. I imagine that if you want to give up nicotine pouches, you need to reframe how you view nicotine highs or the feeling of a lip pillow.

Perfect example. Cut out this thinking. You feel that way, but you don't actually need pouches to be productive. You can't break a habit while seeing it as necessary to function.

I've been trying to cut back too, and honestly the nicotine-free ones helped more with the habit than anything else. The first few days still sucked, but just having something under my lip made work a lot easier. I tried Aire and Grinds and preferred Aire, but everyone's different. I'd probably avoid locking yourself into one brand right away. I found an online store (electronic puffs) that carries a bunch of different pouch brands, so I grabbed a few cans to compare instead of buying a whole case of one. Made it way easier to figure out what actually worked for me.
