Paying for convenience?

Pre-Covid I found my self "paying for convenience" more often. Lately I've been trying to do stuff more my self. Cooking and eating at home has had the biggest affect on my budget. Hence why I was asking about a Weber grill in another thread.

Are you still living the life of luxury? What conveniences have you given up or can't live without. Whether it is a product or service, time saver or someone just does it so much better.

Some other conveniences I've been doing myself is washing my own car. Small Repairs and maintenance on my car and home I've always done myself. So long as it wouldn't take more than a day to complete, or I wouldn't kill myself in the process. I'm not big on food delivery, I lack patience. I don't feel like I should have to wait an hour for delivery. I only average 1 to 2 deliveries a week, I don't think I could live without Amazon Prime.

Curious to see what you guys pay for?

Paying for convenience? Like paying for ease of effort, is that what you mean?

Anyways, I can't live without Amazon Prime either, but besides that, I've been spending on groceries and the bi-weekly ounce which is roughly $250-$300 (also delivered, of course). I don't need anything else, but I find times where I mindlessly buy stupid shit on Nike or Lulu when I already have 12 pairs or shorts or 5 tank tops and think I need some more.

End of the day though, thank you COVID for allowing me to save money I otherwise wouldn't because I still cannot act my age.

Essentially that's what it is. Bi-weekly as in every two weeks, lol I'm not a fiend

Same, just did the sides for a third time and left the back alone. A few weeks away from a mullet, not sure if I should keep it going or just book an appointment.
