Pinpoint
Anyone getting these emails from pinpoint where they mentioned if you're interested in a call to send your resume if you're interested in a call and then no response? I've gotten like 5 emails from them in the past month, and then when you tell them you're interested in learning more they don't reply back. I can understand once, but after the first time they already have my resume and presumably wouldn't keep sending over roles.
Based on the most helpful WSO content, it's not uncommon to encounter situations where you send out your resume in response to an interest for a call or a role and then hear nothing back. This can be frustrating, especially when you're actively seeking opportunities and trying to network effectively. Here are a few insights and tips that might help you navigate this situation:
Volume of Emails: Remember, many firms and recruiters send out a large volume of emails to potential candidates. It's possible that they are casting a wide net and may not follow up with everyone who responds.
Resume Review: When you send your resume, it's crucial to ensure that it's tailored and highlights your relevant experience. If you've had boutique internships or significant experience (like a summer at GS), it makes you a more attractive candidate. However, if you're not hearing back, it might be worth revisiting your resume to ensure it's as strong as it can be.
Persistence and Patience: The process of networking and job searching often requires patience. If you've responded to emails from Pinpoint or similar firms without a reply, consider following up after a reasonable amount of time. However, be mindful not to be too persistent to the point of annoyance.
Broaden Your Network: While it's good to respond to opportunities from firms like Pinpoint, don't put all your eggs in one basket. Continue to reach out to other contacts, apply to roles directly, and utilize platforms like LinkedIn to expand your network.
Seek Feedback: If possible, try to get feedback on your resume or approach from mentors, peers, or professionals in your network. Sometimes, an outside perspective can provide valuable insights that can improve your chances of getting a response.
Remember, the job search process can be unpredictable, and not getting a response doesn't necessarily reflect your qualifications or potential. Keep refining your approach, stay positive, and keep pushing forward.

Yes, have gotten 5 in the last 24 hours. Extremely annoying. Based on the structure of the email, it looks like a Gmass type of thing. Think once they have your email on file they just blast out to all of their contacts. If you look on LinkedIn the posts are all copy and paste.
