Players in WoW Classic are angry

Anyone who wants to reach WoW Classic customer support at the moment will be welcomed by waiting times over a month. The players have been complaining about this fact for weeks. The first get answers but are extremely dissatisfied with them.

What is the problem? If you want to report a mistake, a problem, or obviously unintentionally strong item in WoW Classic, you usually write a ticket to support. The problem is processed and forwarded there.

But if you are currently reporting a problem in Wotlk Classic, you have to expect long waiting times. On Reddit, users of between 30 and 55 days are supposed to wait and have been waiting for the extension on September 27th.

At the beginning of an expansion, it is normal for the number of tickets to be larger, after all, there are more new players and possibly more problems that need to be solved. Wotlk Classic gold is also in this condition a month and a half later. In the meantime, even the first 3 raids are already released, which probably provide even more tickets.

That is why the players are annoyed: A player reports that the full time had been waiting for an answer. According to Screenshot, the answer is only an automated message with links to the forum. The ticket itself was then archived so that the player can no longer answer.

Another reports the same thing, waiting for 40 days. The problem keeps up on Reddit, where users complain about waiting times.

It is not even Wotlk Classic to blame, the waiting times have been so long since Burning Crusade. A player notes that he even stopped because of that.

Tickets only answered after more than 30 days - what's going on?
Does it really take that long? We have created a ticket ourselves (and closed it again so that we could not continue to burden the support). The waiting time should be over 33 days.

In the community, the players report up to 55 days and show screenshots of the corresponding message. So the waiting times are quite plausible.

Why is this taking so long? Blizzard's answers are talking about an “increased arise” of tickets, which is why the processing time takes longer. Wotlk Classic has already had more players than WoW Classic before, in addition over the same time Overwatch 2 and the pre-patch from WoW Dragon Flight with many of the features of the expansion. So there are probably really more tickets.

But fans suspect several reasons behind it. They tap the fact that Blizzard either prioritized differently and limited customer service in favor of development work or simply employs fewer support employees. We can't say whether this is true. Meinmmo asked Blizzard immediately about the reasons, but an answer is still pending.

Meinmmo editor Benedict Grothaus hopes that the situation will soon improve. Because Wotlk Classic is his "Feelgood" wow and he really wants to go to Dragon Flight.
