Pursuing Finance - what to major in?
Hey everyone, I'm a second-year student going to school in Chicago, and I'm trying to figure out what might be best to major in to give me skills salient to the financial industry. I don't want to waste my time at our business school (which sucks) and I want to develop my mathematical/quantitative skills as an undergraduate.
Knowing this, I'm thinking of pursuing a B.A. in Economics, with a double minor in Mathematics & either Chemistry, Statistics, or Data Science.
TL:DR - what do recruiters (IB, M&A, etc) look for in an applicant related to academic skills?
