Should I do blow for my interview?
Title explains itself. Was thinking that it could help me be more personable, be sharper, and think quicker in interviews. Wasn't planning on taking an insane amount where it is obvious, but just a little bump to take the edge off and let my personality flow naturally
What the fuck is yay?
Blow
DUDE😭
You will get anxiety if the interviewer asks you a tricky question/if there is an awkward moment.
Do NOT do yay in preparation for interviews - speak from personal experience. Did this once for a SA interview (was for a MM so I didn’t care).
Drink a shot or two before hand to cool the nerves/be more personable, but leave the yay alone.
Instead, take celebratory bumps if the interview goes well!
You think? Isn’t the whole idea that I will have less anxiety if there are awkward moments? If the interview asks me a tricky question, I was thinking that if I take a pause to collect my thoughts, I would be able to come up with a much better answer. Did you get nervous during your MM interview off the yay? Maybe I should mock w the yay to gauge what it’s like before.
OP, would not recommend at all. It’s a stimulant and really intensifies feeling of anxiety/mood swings.
If you have bad interview anxiety, prepare a fuckton and drink a shot or two if needed.

Any person that uses “😭” is not getting hired in my group. Took me a minute just to find it.
What’s wrong w “😭”? Do you have no personality?
At an EB so I don’t give a fuck lol
You people aren't normal.
Definitely take a shot or two of whiskey to calm the nerves. A key bump isn’t gonna do shit except maybe hop you up. You risk talking too fast, and me personally, I grind my teeth. Just take the shots like everyone else !!
Thanks for that. I can usually keep my composure, even with high doses. I'll mock with both a shot or two and a bump or two separately and compare. My only reservation with drinking before is that it may reduce my cognitive ability and make me sloppy, and I'm Asian so my face gets red. I was thinking doing yay would be helpful for technical interviews
If you need drugs to just interview, you won’t be able to handle anything else in life.
I don’t NEED it to interview. Was wondering what the upside was in gaining an edge over competition, especially when everything about me puts me at a disadvantage
You wanna know a no bullshit guide on how to be confident in your interviews? Prepare a lot.
Prepare your behaviourals, technicals, and your story down to the max. You’ll be confident because you’ll know that you’re competent. Don’t be a fucking idiot and drugs. You don’t need it and it won’t solve your problems.
if you are diverse, they'll give you an offer no matter what so I'd say it depends on that
That’s the reality unfortuantely
As a diverse candidate, I wish that was actually how it worked lol
May come as a surprise, but not once did I ever do this.
I’d slow-burn two coronas for the duration of a 30-min phone call, but if cameras are on then I just exercised restraint.
No merit to just taking a shot or two? Lol your name is Cokehead yet never tried this?
When you get caught trying to explain how stock price appreciation is what makes convertible debt a favorable investment vehicle for a young tech firm and then need to remember an example deal from that specific bank to parallel it to, 1-2 shots tended to make me forget a piece of that line of reasoning.
If you can hang, do it. But for me, being sharp instead of loose made me focus even more instead of getting nervous.

yay costs money. Nah.
What of diphenhydramine or Flexeril or Valium? All have sedative effects. Also regulated, unlike yay. I know, generics from China/India, but still.
Or you could just drink Chamomile tea and have a banana (high magnesium, good for relaxation). Though, drinking tea and eating banana not really bruh cool story.
Brother, do not do blow on your interview
Anyone rip upper decky's before an interview? Think that would relax someone more than coke or alcohol but feel like it would make me not care too much
This is the way:
- Morning of interview do a hard 1-2hr workout. Take a strong preworkout before.
- Before interview have a Red Bull. You should be feeling pretty good.
This can’t be a serious topic.
Assuming this is serious, don't they drug test?
Damn, coke before the interview… ngmi. Save it for after the closing dinner of your first deal.
How about adderall?
Pop a zyn or two u will be good
I’d grab a beer with this guy, seems like a chiller.
I get the whole "quick shot of whiskey" before the interview. Bit of a risk it could slow your wit though right? Takes the sharness and edge off. Of course, calms the nerves. What about adderall? That should increase mental performance, and give you more energy for the interactions.
That’s what I thought too. Adderral is good but timing is important. Once took it 4 hours before my interview to study, but it started to wear off by the time my interview started, and I started to tweak out a little. I’m gonna try to take it like 1 hour before my interview tmr
Adderall could make you too focused, try redbull or ecigs
Already do those things. Is too focused necessarily a bad thing?
I drank a can of Celsius before an interview, however, I was still tired for the first hour
A whole bar bro? My friend turned into an unhinged zombie off a whole bar. What was your experience like
If it’s a short half hour interview, I usually drink Pepsi or a can of Coca Cola 1-2 hours before.
If for a super day, I’ll drink a Redbull before
Not recommending this at all but you would 100% be better off taking 5-10mg of aderall about 1.5 hours before the interview. But just do it straight edge this is ridiculous 😂
Know a guy who would drink a glass or two of whiskey before doing an interview lol
Stay off them drugs
