Should I do blow for my interview?

Title explains itself. Was thinking that it could help me be more personable, be sharper, and think quicker in interviews. Wasn't planning on taking an insane amount where it is obvious, but just a little bump to take the edge off and let my personality flow naturally

DUDE😭
You will get anxiety if the interviewer asks you a tricky question/if there is an awkward moment.
Do NOT do yay in preparation for interviews - speak from personal experience. Did this once for a SA interview (was for a MM so I didn’t care).
Drink a shot or two before hand to cool the nerves/be more personable, but leave the yay alone.
Instead, take celebratory bumps if the interview goes well!

You think? Isn’t the whole idea that I will have less anxiety if there are awkward moments? If the interview asks me a tricky question, I was thinking that if I take a pause to collect my thoughts, I would be able to come up with a much better answer. Did you get nervous during your MM interview off the yay? Maybe I should mock w the yay to gauge what it’s like before.

Any person that uses “😭” is not getting hired in my group. Took me a minute just to find it.

Definitely take a shot or two of whiskey to calm the nerves. A key bump isn’t gonna do shit except maybe hop you up. You risk talking too fast, and me personally, I grind my teeth. Just take the shots like everyone else !!

Thanks for that. I can usually keep my composure, even with high doses. I'll mock with both a shot or two and a bump or two separately and compare. My only reservation with drinking before is that it may reduce my cognitive ability and make me sloppy, and I'm Asian so my face gets red. I was thinking doing yay would be helpful for technical interviews

I don’t NEED it to interview. Was wondering what the upside was in gaining an edge over competition, especially when everything about me puts me at a disadvantage

When you get caught trying to explain how stock price appreciation is what makes convertible debt a favorable investment vehicle for a young tech firm and then need to remember an example deal from that specific bank to parallel it to, 1-2 shots tended to make me forget a piece of that line of reasoning.

If you can hang, do it. But for me, being sharp instead of loose made me focus even more instead of getting nervous.

This is the way:

- Morning of interview do a hard 1-2hr workout. Take a strong preworkout before.

- Before interview have a Red Bull. You should be feeling pretty good.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

That’s what I thought too. Adderral is good but timing is important. Once took it 4 hours before my interview to study, but it started to wear off by the time my interview started, and I started to tweak out a little. I’m gonna try to take it like 1 hour before my interview tmr
