Should I invest in ETFs or Individual Stocks?

Looking to park some cash in either a couple ETFs (ex. QQQ, VTI, SPY, etc.) or individual company stocks…what do you guys do?

Looking for long term growth with decent yearly returns.

1. Buy blue chip stocks for growth especially in technology APPL, GOOGL, AMZN, FB

2. Take a couple riskier positions (i.e. a SQ or maybe a TSLA).

3. Park the rest in strong, low cost index funds or etfs.

4. Sit back and reap the rewards

If you want to as well you can buy some solid dividend stocks. Like a VZ.

Nah, I hold both. Its good to have exposure to high performers like AAPL and MSFT as well as a broad etf in tech. It allows for more growth while maintaining stability.
