Should I invest in the current market or wait for a pullback?

Yeah I know I have a very long time horizon as a new analyst and “time in the market more important than timing” and all that stuff but seriously it’s been like 11 years now of this cycle. Will there be a cheaper opportunity coming up?

I read all these posts of people sharing their net worths now after having been in banking for a few years and it’s massive because they stashed all their money in the market all these last few years. Now I’m supposed to stroll in like I will get even close to those returns in the next decade??

This is not dissimilar from what people said in 2016...and they missed out on at least 5yrs of returns. How many more will you miss out on?

You're right, next decade of equity returns might be flat. Or you might get 5% p.a. for the next 5yrs before a recession causes a 15-20% drawdown, were you really better off for having held cash?

Not easy questions, I understand. I get by this via mostly investing in individual stocks with favorable risk-rewards vs. buying the entire market where valuation can overpower growth.

Seems like prime time to buy cryptos.
