Sick of moving boxes

I graduated with honors, done several internships in corporates and a couple IB. Been at this job for 2-3 years now and feels like I am wasting my mind just moving box and writing boilerplate text about deals and companies.

I enjoy understanding businesses and analysing what numbers mean on financial statements however most of my work day is spent on formatting, info collecting and checking for errors against MD's comments.

At this point, should I quit? Any other people here who quit and found a better fit for their wits?

Any junior job will be incredibly mind-numbing. You have to do the lowly tasks for a while first before you can dig into the interesting parts.

I will say, IB is exceptionally mind-numbing and minute, and the structure is incredibly rigid with like 3 middle managers over you at all times. I'd recommend finding a job with a leaner team - an interesting startup, lean PE firm with a niche strategy, etc. You aren't going to be wheeling and dealing anywhere 2 years out of school but I think you may enjoy a more entrepreneurial line of work.
