Songs that inspire you to go out and get that money?
Have seen lots of threads on songs to listen to pump you up when you need to crank it in excel for a few hours, but where are the threads on songs that inspire you to go out there and make that money?
Post the artist & title if you're going to post a video (sometimes cant see videos on mobile)
Save dat Money- lil dicky
This.
The Heat Is On - Glenn Frey (Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack). Seriously.
Just listened and checked out the lyrics:
"I've been savin' money since a motherfucker thirteen I wear the same pair of jeans everyday Free sandwiches, homie, two stamps away Book flight December but I leave in May Drugs are generic but still work the same I get logins for Netflix from my cousin Greg Thanks Greg!"
haha, this is pretty much the guidebook to staying wealthy....next thing you know rappers gon be singing about 401ks and Roth IRAs
Just listened. This makes you think about money, srsly?
What gets me going when I feel like I need to make more money.
Empire State of Mind
Push it to the Limit - Paul Engemann (Scarface montage) Money for Nothing - Dire Straits
Yeah, I'm a huge 80s fan in general. I was recently turned on to Kenny Loggins - Playing with the Boys (Top Gun volleyball montage)
Yes, that Peter Gabriel song is killer.
Fine, I'll be that guy.
Britney Spears -- Work Bitch
Drake - Started From The Bottom Eminem - Lose Yourself Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Eminem - Forever
In a Sentimental Mood- Duke Ellington and John Coltrane
I'm impressed.
Kendrick Lamar - Backseat Freestyle Kanye West - Flashing Lights Jay-Z - Empire State of Mind Fabulous - Just Throw it in Bag Lloyd Banks - Beamer, Benz, or Bentley And some others, basically every other rap tune....
this mix should get you thinking about $$$:
Kid ink - Iz u down Young thug - lifestyle, about the money, & check Rick Ross - made men, rich forever, sanctified & money dance Mike will - buy the world Big Sean - paradise, extended version & 10-2-10 Drake - over my dead body
Toto - Africa
I crack up at all the super gangsters on this board,... I wonder how many have even been in a one on one fist fight lol
Hey now. I've never been to Africa, but I'm still about that "bless the rains" lifestyle.
An epic bar close song
Not everyone here was fortunate enough to get into fist fights every Friday night over who scared the only girl away from phi sig
edit Deleted my banal comment.
Ace Hood - Cashflow Lloyd Banks - Jackpot Ace Hood - Overtime

American Authors - Best day of my life
Also no one had mentioned any Huey Lewis and the News.
Sussudio - on a semi-related note.
"Dont just stare at it Sabrina.... Eat it."
In the Phil Collins vein "In The Air Tonight." Next time you go to Miami rent a performance car, preferably a convertible, and at night blare that song as you're flying down 95 or over the Causeway going 100 (Miami cops hardly ever pull you over, trust me I lived there for 3 years). You get to feel like Crockett & Tubbs instantly. You'll either get motivated to do well in a legit field or become a 1984 coke importer. Regardless the drums rock. I used to go out of my way from my Brickell office and go down 95 to the Grove to fly down 95 for 4 miles late at night just for that song.
I'm surprised at all of the rap without noting Biggie's Hypnotize. Or going old school rock with Metallica or GnR. A little Master or Welcome to the Jungle always lights a fire under my ass.
But maybe I'm just old.

I am sure all of us have some song that pumps us up before an interview/exam etc. What's your favorite song to listen to before something important?
Mine is Lose yourself - Eminem
Can't tell me nothing - Kanye Nothing - Young Jeezy (Actually his whole TM103 album is motivational..assuming you don't literally take it as motivation to 'sell drugs' etc lol) Ambition - Wale My Last - Big Sean My Moment- DJ Drama Juicy - Biggy Not Afraid - Eminem
There's tons more..I just can't think of them right now.
Btw, Lose Yourself is hands down the best song to listen to before an interview!
When I was in grad school I had an old Alison Krauss CD stuck in my car's CD player. (You kids know what a CD player is...right?). The day of one of my most difficult exams I pulled into the parking spot in the deck at the same instant that song finished.
I aced the test and took that as a sign. So now before any big presentation, sales meeting, or anything of significance I always listen to "Tiny Broken Heart".
Roy Jones Jr - Can't Be Touched
Best song out of Ultra last weekend:
//
Did you go to Ultra? Heard a security guard was trampled at the fence. You see any of that?
Billy Squier - The Stroke
Nah dude... Afrojack can't be the best song from Ultra
I like to pretend I was in Miami for the weekend... That Afrojack song is sick though - you can admit.
Tick of the Clock - Chromatics
Umm interesting...nobody has love for "Remember the name" - Fort Minor?
Dead Presidents II - J. Cole

Can't believe no one said "Got Money" by Lil Wayne
Favorite Motivational Song (Originally Posted: 06/10/2014)
Before football games, we had a tradition of blasting any ACDC music, and pretty much anything by them gets me pumped up. Out of their discography, I would say Hells Bells gets me the most fired up.
How about you? Post your favorite motivational tunes.
...
ok but on a serious note
illest motherfcker alive
or just print a picture of james franco and stare intensely into his eyes. i lasted 8 seconds once
ACDC Thunderstruck
Or Bonecrusher - Never Scared
Works every time.

Till I Collapse -Eminem
Roy Jones Jr - Can't be touched
Starfucker - "Julius" Justice - "Civilization" Arcade Fire - "Sprawl II" Django Unchained Soundtrack - "Django" Kanye West/Jay-Z - "Power" (ONLY the Jay-Z remix version)
Edit: Just re-read the original post and saw the context was football. These are good songs to crank at your desk, not necessarily play sports. Oops
Would be very interested to compile a list for that if there isn't one floating around already.
Beethoven Symphony No. 9 5th movement for life in general. http://grooveshark.com/#!/s/Symphony+No+9+5th+Movement/2p8BkX?src=5
But Master of Puppets when I'm at the gym.
Master of Puppets for sure.

Probably something by Amon Amarth.
Not motivational per se, but something I put on when it's time to grind through something:
//
holler if ya hear me -- 2Pac
