The Silver Banana Farm

Bros I want to start a silver banana farm for those who need them. I'd like to post anonymously soon but I can't atm. Basically, give bananas, receive bananas. Reply, give, receive, repeat. Silver bananas are multiplied for the person we give em to. We can all become banana millionaires. Think about it :)

bananas don't really mean anything if there is a unlimited supply. Value is derived from scarcity

There is not an unlimited supply of Bananas. There are limits.

You sweet intern. Deal toys are given out after a deal closes to those who were a part of it. It’ll have all the details of the deal on it so one can display it in their office or on their desk. It’s just a little trophy really. I used to work at a REI firm and we had a few for different big closings in the five boroughs. The WSO deal toy is just a stupid semi-translucent banana, but it’s quite fun regardless.

I want a real silver banana for my collection. Per chatGPT:

Assuming the average weight of a banana is approximately 120 grams or 0.265 pounds, we can convert this weight to ounces by dividing it by 16, which gives us approximately 0.0165 pounds or 0.264 ounces.

If we assume that the density of pure silver is approximately 10.49 grams per cubic centimeter, we can calculate the volume of a banana-sized silver object by using the formula for the volume of a cylinder:

Volume = π × radius² × height

Assuming a banana has a diameter of approximately 1.25 inches and a length of 7 inches, the radius of the silver banana would be approximately 0.625 inches and the height would be 7 inches.

Plugging these values into the formula, we get:

Volume = π × (0.625 inches)² × (7 inches) = 8.615 cubic inches

Now we can calculate the weight of the silver banana-shaped object by multiplying its volume by the density of silver:

Weight = 8.615 cubic inches × 10.49 grams per cubic centimeter × (1 ounce / 28.35 grams) = 25.5 ounces

Therefore, a banana-sized 100% pure silver object would weigh approximately 25.5 ounces and cost $536.50 (at a rate of $21 per ounce).

I wonder if the Mod team would see it as an abuse of the system

Bananas in off topic are only worth 0.25.
