Unethical to fake being diverse?

Curious on everyone’s thought on if someone were to fake being LGBT on an application to boost their odds. This is primarily focused on the freshman/sophomore internships at banks, who focus on diversity students. If someone were to do this, should they put on some nail polish and fake a “gay” voice during the interview?

Just say bi, you can still date girls without getting a question.

If they ask you to prove it, kiss the interviewer.

DEI itself is unethical so if you want to lie to cheat the system that itself is cheating the idea of merit, by all means, do whatever you have to. Just know that some folks will associate you with the Didn't Earn It label if you decide to go that route, even if you were lying to begin with.

This is the best diversity post I have seen on WSO.  It is pretty funny.  It is certainly more entertaining than the typical diversity post complaining about a urm taking their job.
