No, it is not normal to deliberately fly in millions of illegals with false asylum claims (oddly choosing to concentrate many into swing states), hand them prepaid debit cards with $1,000s of dollars on them, pay for their lodging by offering above market rent thereby disrupting local housing markets, and do this to the tunes of $100s of millions to the point that FEMA is now completely tapped and they're offering $750 to people who literally watched their entire town get blown away. It's disgusting.

Notwithstanding the fact any person who crosses the border illegally is immediately a felon, CBP came out recently and released numbers on their own accord that showed nearly 700k migrants that have been RELEASED into the country and are NOT being actively monitored were known to have criminal histories . This includes (source 1):

  • 62,231 noncitizens with criminal convictions for assault; 42,915 with pending assault charges
  • 15,811 who have been convicted of sexual assault
  • 56,533 noncitizens convicted of drug possession
  • 2,521 who have been convicted on kidnapping
  • 13,000+ who have been convicted of murder/homicide

And this is just the ones they know about. They can't do anything about it though because they can't even hold 50k migrants for questioning & processing at one time - "ICE has the capacity to hold 41,500 noncitizens in Fiscal Year 2024, which is up from 34,000 in Fiscal Year 2023."

These and the rest of the alien invaders pouring over the southerner border have received $100s of millions from taxpayers and get to live what are essentially fully paid vacations during what's becoming an economic crises for regular Americans. Meanwhile the actual citizens in Maui who lost everything to the massive fire from last year and now the folks across the east coast who watched their homes get washed away by hurricane Helene get a check that barely covers a couple of months of groceries. But Biden will spend his weekend at the beach and commit a few billion more to Taiwan, Israel, and Ukraine, and Kamala will schmooze it up in LA at a fundraiser. Someone make it make sense and explain how Democrats do not in fact hate this nation and all the people in it.

And this isn't even touching on the reports of state and local authorities actively preventing rescue efforts by preventing private operators from taking in their helicopters and boats to try and reach people. Still thousands of people missing. Reports of price gouging and other disgusting behavior by gas stations and the like in some parts of GA and SC. After the waters settle and they get a full accounting of all the damage, I have no doubt Helene is orders of magnitude deadlier and more destructive than Katrina was almost 20 years ago. But the leadership in this country is going to handle it orders of magnitude worse than the Bush admin did (and they were god awful) because there's a corpse in the White House now and we already have precedent from the Maui fires as to how incompetent this admin is during a crisis.

When this is the reality, there should be NO foreign aid. The only money that should be spent on illegals is to process their deportation or set up the prison workhouses they should be put into.

And who’s going to save us?

The senile orange man who cares more about Twitter than the American people?

Like Trump would be better able to handle the crisis lol.

It takes an impressive amount of pent up delusion and blind hatred for the man to actually believe something this profoundly stupid. But your irrationality is clearly shown by the non-sequitur senile dig, made all the more laughable when you take 2 seconds to recall the current President literally had to drop out of the race because of how old and decrepit he is compared to Trump.

It's pretty obvious how Trump would be better: No importing and housing illegal immigrants = no FEMA funds being wasted on them = FEMA resources are available for people effected by the hurricane. Trump himself has been flying to effected areas himself and raising millions for the victims, meanwhile it's barely getting discussed by Biden beyond "we've done what we can, btw another $2b to Ukraine" and Kamala just running campaign fundraisers out on the West coast. And yes, obviously part of the angle here is generating positive publicity, but it speaks volumes that he's the only one actually doing something while the current admin/other candidate aren't despite that same positive opportunity being available to them.

One of the biggest of Trump's pillar issues for all 3 of his campaigns has anti-illegal immigration. The current admin as their literal first course of action upon taking office was to remove the remain in Mexico policy he put in place process, deliberately take steps to weaken border security & enforcement, and go so far as to import illegals themselves directly into the heart of the country by charting both commercial and military aircraft to do so. Illegals have been swarming across the border faster than the CBP can process them with estimates pointing towards over 10 million since the beginning of Biden's presidency to the end of this year. It's impossible to spin that as a positive for Americans and is why immigration is one of the top campaign issues alongside the economy and these foreign wars that continue escalating.

I also like to use memes to back up my argument when I can’t provide sources. Look you don’t have to like that funds are being used for migrants or to help the homeless, but you should be honest about the scale. The amount of money being allocated to migrants is 0.5% the amount allocated toward emergencies.

Memes deliver clear messages. There's plenty of primary source interviews all over X of private citizens from NC and other states sharing that they've had to ground helicopters and not circumvent FEMA's snail pace aid delivery. Plenty still are though, with some going as far as literally loading up donkeys to bring aid into isolated areas w/o electricity or communications capabilities. Maybe try being less lazy & ignorant and do more basic fact checking for yourself.

The war machine doesn't care about the cogs after they've been replaced. Every member of Congress that's supported the past 20+ years of pointless wars should receive capital punishment.

FEMA's budget is not $200b, its annual budget isn't even 1/4 of that. Regardless, even $1 spent on housing and subsidizing the lives of illegal criminals is too much. You're literally the meme of it's not happening -> it's rare when its happening, etc. Next you'll say complaining about it is the problem and then spin that it's a good thing.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, there is no specific mention of FEMA Emergency Funds being spent on "Immigration Resettlement." However, there are discussions about financial mismanagement and the challenges of budgeting for emergencies. Here are some relevant points:

  • Budget Mismanagement: Both Democrats and Republicans have been criticized for poor financial management, raising debt ceilings, and delaying tough decisions. This has led to a precarious financial situation where funds may not be available when needed most.

  • Natural Disasters and Choices: There is a discussion about people choosing to live in areas prone to natural disasters and the moral implications of profiting from others' misfortunes. This highlights the complexity of resource allocation in disaster-prone areas.

  • Economic Strain: The economic strain from various factors, including overspending and insufficient cuts in major spending areas like military and entitlement programs, has left the government in a tight spot financially.

  • Supply Chain and Labor Issues: Companies have been unable to spend cash due to supply chain and labor issues, which could impact the overall economic stability and availability of emergency funds.

For more detailed discussions, you might want to explore the threads on Wall Street Oasis related to budget management and economic policies.
