Advice?

Hi all,

I’m new around here. First time hearing about WSO, and just got the app.

I’ve been reading quite a bit around the forums, which is v interesting; but couldn’t come across someone in a similar situation as me.

I’m a PhD student in biotechnology, and was wondering how could I make use of my knowledge in finance? I’ve heard about Equity Research In biotech at a bank, but I would want some more info tho.

I quickly AI-d my question and that’s how I came across this app. Also, it suggested to do CFA Level 1. Any ideas?

Any help, advice, resources, personal experiences would be more than welcome :)
