In a case study, especially for a fundraising or relationship management role, you might be given a scenario where you have to strategize on how to attract potential investors or handle a situation with an existing investor. You might have to analyze a given company/business idea and give recommendations back.
Remember, they want to see that you WANT the job. So, approach it with confidence and show them not just your technical skills, but also your passion and commitment.

Hi! Even though HR said it was gonna be a case study it really wasn't. It was just a call with an MD with a lot of market questions and alot of time at the end for me to ask questions.
By market questions do you mean questions on how alternatives are doing?
How technical were these questions- can you please go over what was asked briefly in the case study?
Not entirely related but can anyone shed some light on Ares's prospects within the IR/Fundraising teams? Seems to be a lot of openings recently and wanted to gauge growth prospects of being part of such teams for either their PC, PE, or RE coverage
