Associate carry at a $500 - $750m AUM fund

Considering joining a process at ~10 person fund in the lower end of the AUM mentioned in the title, but currently raising its next fund.

Base salary & cash bonus is on the lower end since they've yet to exit their first fund, but I'd receive carry allocation because of that.

Given associates don't receive carry at almost all larger funds, I'm not sure what to expect. Is 25-35bps reasonable? I think that would be on the lower end for Senior Associates, but I'd be coming on as a Junior Associate.

Not the original commenter I'd probably expect closer to $250-300k as its pretty not customary to receive carry at the 1st year associate level. Also while its a newer fund you mention they're growing fund II (not sure trajectory) but clearly have figured out a bit of early growing pains + less riskier for juniros joining now than maybe 3-4 years ago.

As the other commenter mentioned even if its a first fund you should be asking/getting in-line with market pay at that fund range
