Best apartment buildings in NYC to meet other PE mid level execs?
I own a medium size business that I bought a couple years back. Doing a couple mill in EBITDA and fully own the company outright. I've got it to the point where its being passively run now and I'm looking at possibly doing some independent sponsor deals in the near future.
I'm in my early 30s, single. Feel that I'm stagnating in the city I'm currently in now. Thinking of moving back to NYC.
Haven't lived in NYC for a while now. Want to meet other like minded and have unfortunately lost touch with all my PE/finance friends. What are some of the good buildings in NYC where I can meet other top finance/entrepreneurial people? Looking at 1 bedroom/1 bath, could go up 10-15k a month in rent if necessary.
American Gardens building would be my first choice.

I would go to trade shows and then go drinking after to meet people for this purpose
Partner in MF PE (ignore WSO title) - I found the Equinox steam room to be the best place to meet likeminded individuals. If I spot a potential PE guy in there, i'll just say aloud "anyone looking to juice some returns?" and take it from there.
