BlackRock Application FT 2025

Just received an email saying:

“Your application has advanced to the next review phase. You will continue to receive email updates as our review progresses”

Anyone else got this email? Any offer holders or interviewees who could let me know if this is a good sign or not?

Thanks

Based on the most helpful WSO content, receiving an email stating that your application has advanced to the next review phase is generally a positive sign. It indicates that your application has passed an initial screening and is being considered further. However, it does not guarantee an interview or offer yet.

For context, BlackRock's recruitment process often involves multiple stages, including virtual interviews (like the HireVue virtual cover letter), which are behavioral in nature. If you progress, you may be asked to complete one of these interviews.

If you're looking for insights from others, you might want to check out threads like the "BlackRock Virtual Cover Letter Hireview" (url: https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forum/job-search/blackrock-virtual-cove…) for tips and shared experiences. Good luck!

I haven’t even gotten the first interview 😭😭 I got this last Saturday and I still haven’t heard back from them. I mainly posted this to see if ppl get interviews after this email, but I’ve been getting mixed responses

Oh, I think I got this too. I tried to check the time between this and the first interview, but couldn’t find the email. Either way it’s a good sign and just know they move really slow and can leave you in the dark for 1-2 weeks before advancing. Maybe that’s why they send emails like this

Thanks!

Tbh I applied start of November, and got the email exactly after a month.

Ppl who applied to the same team have already started getting rejections 💀
