I'm an analyst working at a MF REPE firm interested in looking into BX Tac Ops. Given my background in primarily real estate, is there a decent chance of recruiting for this group?
I know that they invest in real estate as part of their mandate and was curious if this team looks into candidates from a real estate focused background.

In my opinion Tac Opps used to be great, the rest of the firm has sucked the teet of deal flow dry. For example when Tac Opps was spawned in 2012, they did a deal in the infra space as BIP didn’t exist, BXC was smaller, BIS was spawned from Tac Opps and Growth Equity was spawned from Tac Opps.
