I could understand if you wanted the full 60K that they would walk away, but to not entertain a negotiation is stingy AF. Classic MM PE funds love to underpay and then complain that they're not getting any quality candidates. My fund does the same - Partner begged the Associates to "turn over every rock" to get more candidates to interview, and it's just like, go fuck yourself...if you wanted good quality finance talent then pay more you fucking bozos

 

Dodged yourself a bullet. Offer could have been pulled for many reasons. Imagine signing with them, resigning your job, and then they fucking pulled the offer. #fuckMMPE #nextoneletsgo
