difference between capital allocations and AUM?

recently saw on a private equity Funds of Funds website they have $80bn in total capital allocations and $20bn AUM?

Can someone explain what the difference is? I thought they were the same thing but how can the capital allocations be 80billion and the Assets under management be 20billion?

thanks
