Different Exit Paths
Have some interviews coming up and am trying to determine the career path and trajectory that best suits my interests and also gauge the differences in comp over the long term. Deciding between 1) staying in IB, 2) PE, 3) MF private credit (think APO/ARES/BS/CAR)
What are the differences in compensation at the associate level and up for each of the three, how does the day to day vary (especially for private credit), and what future opportunities does each present/where can you exit to from each? Just want to end up in a space that I enjoy learning about and grinding for a long time
