Direct Lending Portfolio Management

Been recruited by a HH to join a MF Direct Lending portfolio management team. Can someone shed some light on these type of roles? Are they front office and more strategy focused or more financial? Are there any exit ops and what’s WLB like?

It's basically the in-house restructuring team, taking care of the investments that the direct lending team made when there is dips in performance or just tracking how they are doing overall.
